PostSubject: Fun at Rotting Blade   Fri Nov 03, 2006 11:11 pm

In the morning, when you arise, you find that the ailment, whatever it be, that seems to be affecting all of you, is now stronger. Joints are more painful, skin feels even more greasy, eyelids are clearly swollen (except for Six, who has none), etc. It may have something to do with feeling unwell, but you also find yourself feeling just a trifle irritable. Constantly. Maybe waiting half a day in the Wastes wasn't that good an idea.

To head down to Rotting Blade, once you leave the shelter of the hill you camped behind, you will have about a mile of flat and open land to traverse before you reach the circle of menhirs that surrounds the village.

When Luna scouted the village, she saw no evidence of watchmen or guards, but even so there's a good chance that anyone in the outer rim of the village facing in the direction you're coming from will see you. And anyone in the fields facing that direction (which are empty right now) will definitely do so.

How do you go about it?

OOC: I'm assuming Luna did her scouting the evening before, since you had the time to do so, which means you shave a couple of hours off.

And the bad news - everybody has a 2 pt penalty to Con and Wis now. Luna, whose symbiont band has now turned from black to a dull gray, has a 1 pt penalty to each. And Lesser Restoration doesn't seem to help.

OOC: Out of the people in the group...does anyone NOT have this disease? particularly do members of the group who were not attuned to the shard...are they affected?

No, everybody is affected. You can't really say whether it has anything to do with the attunement, since all of you were attuned to the shard.

Speaking of which, after you all awake, you also become aware that the directional link to the shard has become even more imprecise over the course of the time you've spent waiting, resting and preparing spells.

Waking up, cranky, "It looks like someone is screwing with the shard."
